Youth Running
The Youth Running Committee serves as the central hub for youth running in Northern Colorado, connecting and supporting programs to expand their reach and impact. We aim to provide every child with the opportunity to experience the joy, passion, and camaraderie of running, fostering a lifelong love for fitness and community.
The community involves itself with TNT, Open Streets, the Poudre School District and club events to bring all ages into the sport. It also provides grants to schools via its community funding program.
The FCRC offers a $10 annual membership for youth (under 18). They receive all the same membership as adults. The club has over 65 youth members and the number continues to grow -- it has increased by over 20% since the summer of 2025.
Youth TNT
The FCRC is offering a summer youth running program at the track! This is open to kids ages 7-17. The program will run on Tuesday evenings before Tuesday Night Track (TNT) from 5/26-8/4.

Grants
The FCRC invests funds, generated by club dues and race proceeds, back into the community through the School and Community Fund. The Fund has supported dozens of local running organizations, all-abilities running groups, track teams, and school running clubs.
The FCRC will consider funding requests from applicants who meet all of the following criteria:
- The requested funds will be used for expenses directly related to running programs.
- The requesting applicant (individual/organization/school) is based and operates within the Fort Collins community.
- The applicant has not received funding from the FCRC in the past 12 months. Applicants may only request once in a 12 month period.
Requested funds normally range around $500.
